We're still here — thank you for your patience! The spare moments normally used for blogging have lately been spent resting (pregnancy + two-year-old boy =
utter exhaustion). I will try to be better about updates, family! Nathan is doing great and reached the 2 1/2 mark a few weeks ago. He is full of stories, sillies, and endless energy...

I also wanted to share some pictures from our last triathlon of the season (also a few weeks ago). Jason competed in the sprint race and did an amazing job, placing third in his age group! Charlie competed in his first half Iron race (1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run) and did incredibly, placing third in his age group as well! It was a very, very warm day for such a long race, so I was exceedingly proud of they guys for simply finishing (let alone placing). They are super heroes in the eyes of one little man in particular...

(We watched the sun rise)

This was the first A&M Tri Team event I have been to, and it was really great to see the comradery of the students. They did a yell before the race began, which I think even the non-Aggies found to be pretty cool. Triathlon is such an individual sport that it's not often you see participants supporting each other like that (at least not before the race — ha!).
