At the Beach

We spent last weekend soaking up the summer sunshine in Galveston. It was Luke's first real beach adventure, and, boy, did he love it! It was also our last chance to take advantage of the quiet weekend before school begins (since Nathan will be gearing up for kindergarten this time next year — tear). We were fortunate to have really mild weather, so the kids were able to spend most of each day out in the water and sand. They had such a ball...

Mornings at the beach equal serious naps. I don't think Luke moved a muscle for hours...

 (There is nothing like a double case of Hand-Foot-and-Mouth virus to bring you back to reality when vacation is over. Lovely.)
