Giving Thanks

We had a wonderful time celebrating Thanksgiving in Houston last week. Jason, Nathan, and I are truly thankful for both of our wonderful families and all of our dear friends. I was horrible about remembering to take pictures over the holiday (no surprise to you, I'm sure). Here is what I did manage to snap...

Nate and Logan are cousins and buddies...

It amazes me to see how much they've
grown since last Thanksgiving...

We also got to spend time with our great friends Lindsay and Dave and their precious little girl, Carson. These two have no idea that they are betrothed :)

Doesn't Jason look like a natural? I'm just sayin'...

Dave gave Nate a recap of a certain football game whose outcome will go unmentioned. I think it's pretty easy to see which team Dave was rooting for. Jason bravely sported his team's colors as well...

We hope yours was a happy Thanksgiving, too!

Pictures, Pictures

Whew. We're finally home from a whirlwind week of driving, enjoying time with family, attending business conferences, more driving, Sea World adventuring, marathon racing, and (you guessed it) driving. We had a wonderful time in Houston and San Antonio last week and just thought we'd share (more than) a few pictures.
........

Nathan loved getting to spend time with his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousin in The Woodlands and Houston.

.......

Next we made our way to San Antonio for the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon/Half Marathon. But first, a day at Sea World...

Evidence that I was there...

Nathan's favorite part of the park was the toddler play area...

Getting ready for the big race...

This was Uncle Charlie's first ever full marathon. He did an awesome job and finished those 26.2 miles looking really strong. 26,000 runners participated in the event, so I felt very fortunate to actually see both of the guys as they ran.

Jason ran his first ever half marathon, and we were so proud of him for completing those 13.1 miles with a fantastic time. He even briefly stopped along the way to give Nate a kiss (which I was too slow to catch on camera)...

Way to go, guys! You are both amazing!
