Wednesday at the Zoo

After spending a week at home recovering from a lovely case of the flu, Nathan was more than ready to get out of the house today to enjoy the sunshine (and burn some energy). The weather was absolutely perfect for a zoo date, and we were surprised to have the place virtually to ourselves on such a beautiful day.

And finally, a picnic lunch. We could hear the lion roaring loudly while we ate, which I thought was pretty cool (Nate, not so much).
