Saturday night Nathan and Jason watched Monster Jam at Cowboys Stadium. Yep, I said
Monster Jam. I once thought monster trucks fell somewhere between wrestling and NASCAR in terms of entertainment and crowd, but it turns out that Monster Jam is really geared toward kiddos and is completely family-friendly. Each truck is a sort of character (one looks like a dog, another like Superman, etc.), and they race and do freestyle performances for points — it's pretty much little boy heaven. Nathan had been looking forward to seeing the show for many, many weeks as an early birthday present.
He was ready for those noisy engines!
Mesmerized. (I love that the little boys sitting by Nathan had the exact same awe-struck expression he did)
