Balloon Joy

Nate and I made a trip to Party City yesterday to pick up some cups and napkins for his birthday party. Along with his endless desire to point things out, he's also discovered a love for balloons (and "love" is no exaggeration – probably more of an understatement). Wherever we go, be it the grocery store, Little Gym, or a birthday party, his excitement over seeing a balloon is basically off the charts. Naturally, a stroll through the aisles of Party City is full of balloon sitings, so there was much pointing and giggling to be done. It quickly became obvious that I needed to get my little boy a balloon. There are few things in life that can elicit the kind of sweet, uncontrollable excitement that this balloon did. Maybe the best $2.99 ever spent.
