Louisiana Road Trip

I have determined that I'm not good about taking pictures when we travel. I get so focused on keeping an eagle eye on Curious George that I forget to snap away as usual. Thus, I have only a few good shots from our weekend in Louisiana. We traveled to Lake Charles to attend the wedding reception of Jason's cousin. We also went to his Grammy's house where cousin Logan and many aunts and uncles were gathered. Nathan and Logan are already partners in crime:



Nathan also went for a swim with TaTa. I hadn't packed a bathing suit or swimmy diaper, so we made do with a regular old Huggies. The difference in Carmen's skin tone and Nathan's is just hilarious. She had just returned from the beach, and he rarely goes out without a layer of sunscreen lathered on (not to mention the fact that I think he has inherited my lighter complexion...can't wait to see if he'll have freckles, too):
