Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day! As I sit here thinking what to write, I am struck by the idea that we have just a single day each year meant to recognize our mothers, the mothers of our parents, and the mothers of our children. This should really be an all the time thing. Mothers have a tough job that is often overlooked. I could easily go into all the ways that moms are invaluable, as I'm sure we all could. Why is it that there are so many calls to mom on this day only? We all need to talk to Mom at least once a week. A card and flowers showing our love for Mom should come about more than just once a year. So that being said, I share with you a Jewish proverb that explains how important mothers are:

"God could not be everywhere and, therefore, he made mothers."

I want to wish Happy Mother’s Day to my wonderful wife,
a terrific mom, that is truly the love of my life.

Happy Mother’s Day!

What a wonderful mommy Nate has! His great-aunt Char isn't too bad either!
Moms should get extra forgiveness for all their transgressions. They make up for all their mess-ups by just trying to be the best moms they can be!
