18 months

Today our sweet boy is one-and-a-half years old. At Nathan's doctor visit this morning we learned that he is 34" tall (90th percentile), weighs about 29 lb. (75 - 80th percentile), and is an all-around healthy kiddo.

Just look at how much he has grown since his first birthday...

In the past six months Nate transitioned from non-walker to full-speed runner. He left nursing and baby food in the dust and now feeds himself normal food with his fork, spoon, and fingers. He chews that food with a mouthful of 12 teeth (including 4 molars). He is a toddler full of energy and giggles who tests his boundaries and loves generously.

Jason always teases me for optimistically rounding numbers. He doesn't need to worry that I will now start saying my little boy is "almost" 2, though. I am in no hurry to have him grow up. He is doing so quite quickly on his own (no matter how much I beg him to slow down).
