Rainy Weekend

Several days of steady rain (still falling as I type) washed out our plans to attend Jason's company picnic at the lake, but we didn't let it spoil our weekend...




(Cousin Nico, do you remember these shoes? Nathan really enjoyed wearing them to play with trains. Size 8 already — yikes!)

(Hard to believe these are the same table and chairs Heather, Charlie, and I played with growing up, huh? My handy husband sanded them down and gave them a fresh coat of paint so they'd be like new for Nate. I am so grateful that my mom and dad held on to them for us!)
