Wouldn't you know that Nathan's 15-month doctor's appointment was scheduled this morning during the middle of Fort Worth's version of a hurricane? Just our luck. We did make it safely to the office, though I'm pretty sure we passed Noah and his Ark somewhere along the way. Nate behaved like a champ, even when the power went out. He weighed in at 26.5 lb. (75th percentile) and measured 32 1/2" long/tall (also 75th percentile). It was his first visit ever to measure below the 90+ percentile, and I'm hopeful that he's taking a short break from growing like a weed so that his summer clothes will last all season. The transition from baby to kiddo is well under way. In fact, Dr. Shori thought we were there for his 18-month appointment when she walked in because he is looking like such a big boy these days. Earlier this week he became a full-time cup user (bye bye bottle!), and has quickly gone from wobbly walker to a boy on
wheels. I can hardly keep up with him!
Such love for his abacus/bead roller coaster...
